Garden of Peace

Take my hand and walk with me
Sit down just here and talk to me
I'd like to hear what you have to say
be my lamp light up the way

Let us talk of God and Life
We'll laugh and then we'll smile
We'll talk of worldly problems
sit and ponder for a while

At first I did not understand
the messages that you gave
I turned my back, I looked away
one soul you would not save..

But life stepped in with tests for me
stole the flowers from my mind,
the thorns they hurt but led me back
to The Way, The Truth, The Life

Sitting here beside you
soaking up the wisdom of your years
seeing the Father that you point us to
wiping away all my former fears.

Dear Jesus, I must go now
but I'll find you again with ease
sitting here waiting for all Mankind
in this Beautiful Garden of Peace
